LCMS World Mission sends missionaries to the ends of the earth. They come from all walks of life. They are school teachers, office workers, doctors, and truck drivers. They are fresh out of college and newly retired; students and stay at home moms; pastors and people who work with their hands for a living. They serve for a week or two with a team and they spend years immersed in a culture. They touch lives with the Good News of God’s great love for all people. They share this in words, in actions, in the relationships they build. God calls each of us to join Him in the work He is doing at home and all over the world. Is He calling you to step out in faith? Audio Interview with Erin Alter
Listen to an audio interview with Erin Alter, who serves the Lord as the program director for GEO missionary service at LCMS World Mission. She recruits and places individuals for GEO missionary service around the world. Before joining LCMS World Mission’s staff in July 2004, Erin served as a long-term missionary in Japan through the volunteer youth ministry (VYM) program for more than three years.
